'Chilli Chicken Prep time: 30 mins Cook time: 30 mins Number of servings: 2 persons Ingredients Boneless chicken pieces - 500 GMS Salt - 1 TSP Egg - 1 NO. Soy sauce - 2 TSP Corn flour - 3 TBSP Maida - 1 TBSP Pound ginger garlic - 1 TBSP Oil for deep frying Oil - 1 TBSP Finely chopped ginger and garlic Chopped green chillies - 3 NOS. Chopped onion - 1 NO. Chopped capsicum - 1 NO. Vinegar - 1 TSP Soy sauce - 2 TSP Chilli sauce - 2 TSP Tomato ketchup - 3 TBSP Cornflour slurry - 1/4 CUP Sliced spring onion whites Chopped spring onion greens Method In a bowl, take the chicken pieces, add salt, pepper, egg, soy sauce, cornflour, maida, pound ginger garlic and mix well Let it sit for 30 mins Heat some oil for deep frying, gently drop the marinated chicken pieces into the hot oil Deep fry them for 3-4 mins and take them out when they turn golden brown in color Heat a wok/pan with some oil, add ginger, garlic, green chillies, onions, capsicum and stir fry them for 2 mins Add vinegar, soy sauce, chilli sauce, tomato ketchup and mix everything well Add cornflour slurry and mix well Add the fried chicken pieces and mix well Add spring onion whites and greens and mix well Serve the chilli chicken hot with some fried or noodles #chillichicken #starter #homecooking You can buy our book and classes on http://www.21frames.in/shop HAPPY COOKING WITH HOMECOOKING!
